Mark Glater, Principal
Mark obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Masters in Taxation from Florida Atlantic University. He is a FL licensed Certified Public Accountant for over two decades. Mark has given back to his community for many years serving on various not-for-profit Boards and has served the academic community as an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic Universtiy.

Mark has many years of experience serving the furniture industry in sales and merchandising as a sales representative and as Chief Financial Officer of Glater Enterprises, a company dedicated to representing furniture manufacturers and assisting retailers achieve profitability.

After spending many years as a sales representative and obtaining his CPA license in Florida, Mark worked for the “Big Five” for several years (KPMG LLP and Deloitte & Touche). Mark has served a wide variety of clients ranging from closely held companies to multi-national corporations including companies in the technology (start-ups), retail, & manufacturing sectors. Mark’s knowledge base spans many areas of business consulting, with a concentration in income tax planning. Utilizing an interactive consultative philosophy, which includes learning and understanding his clients’ goals, Mark assists his clients in minimizing their Federal and State income taxes, while assuring they are in compliance with the various taxing authorities’ administrative requirements.

Now residing in Weston, Florida, with his wife and three children, Mark founded the firm Glater & Associates. The firm was established with the mission of merging Mark's many years of industry experience with the vast knowledge he has obtained throughout his professional career as a CPA.

Glater & Associates, P.A. currently serves many closely held companies providing tax, accounting and business advisory services to both corporate and individual taxpayers.
